Parkside Watch D.O.G.S.  

Watch D.O.G.S. is a program that is beneficial to the students, the Watch Dog and the teacher. 

What to expect when you volunteer

• If you have one, wear your Watch DOGS shirt

• Bring a photo ID to check in with Katy in the front office

• You will be assigned primarily in your student or students' grade level, but will have parts of the day assigned specific to your student

• Each teacher will have a Watch Dog Bucket in their room filled with games, puzzles, activities and books, and will identify 3-5 kids that could use some one on one time with another adult working on challenging classroom concepts or just building good mentor/mentee relationships through time spent playing fun games.

• Teachers might have small jobs for the Watch Dog to do such as stapling together booklets, cutting paper, organizing the classroom bookshelf, etc.

Our goal is to see student growth academically as well as relationally through the Watch Dog program.  We also want to make this a time that is beneficial and helpful for our teachers as well as fulfilling and inspiring for our Great Dads!
