Should you need to make a change in your student's default transportation, please contact the front office at 512-570-7100.  All other daily exceptions can be made through SDM.

Transportation Changes

All transportation changes must be submitted via SDM by 1:00pm. This helps to ensure our students are accurately and safely dismissed at the end of the day.  Please call the front office at 512-570-7100 if you need to make an emergency change after 1:00pm.

Front / Back Walker

Front Walkers will be dismissed to meet parents / walk home towards the front of the school and Back Walkers are dismissed in the back of the school by the garden.

You may utilize the the District's Route Finder to identify your bus route, as well as bus stop locations and times.

All bus riders will be issued a SMART card to ride the bus.  Parents and guardians can go to the SMART Tag Parent Portal and select Register to begin the registration process. Once registered, parents and guardians can sign up for SMART Alerts to receive a text message notification 10 to 15 minutes before the bus arrives at their child’s bus stop. While on the bus, the Parent Portal also provides a live map to see bus’ location in near real time.  For more information on SMART Tag, please visit the LISD Transportation page.

Car Riders

Car rider pick up will be in the front of the school.  Please stay in your car during pick-up and drop-off, as our staff will be there to help your student(s) get in and out of the car.  To help our pick-up line run smoothly, please make sure you have a sign for your car that includes:  Student First and Last Name, Grade Level, and Teacher.

YMCA & Day Care

YMCA:  Students must be registered through the YMCA prior to attending the "Y-Afterschool" program.  You may contact the YMCA of Greater Williamson County at 512-246-9622, or visit the YMCA website for information and to register.

Day Care:  There are a few day cares in the area who offer after school programs for students and provide transportation at the end of the day.  Please call the day care directly to find out if they offer bus pick-up from Parkside, as these options typically change from year to year.
