Did you know that LISD loses an average of about $40 a day for each student who is marked as absent? We appreciate your help with getting your students to school so that they can start their jobs as learners and not miss out on any valuable instructional time!

Registeration will be held on Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 for incoming Kindergarten and Pre-K students for the 2012-2013 school year. Times will be posted closer to date. Please click on the registeration link (upper left side) so you will know what papers to bring.

As a way to help students connect what they are learning to the real world, the Elementary Science Curriculum Department is developing short videos about a variety of science topics. This link connects to the LISD Science Student Links Webpage and will be updated monthly. There are two videos available now with more on the way soon.
